An Eye Doctor Who Looks Beyond Clear Vision
For Dr. Cline, optometry has always been about more than helping patients read the eye chart. She’s fascinated by the connection between the eyes and the rest of the body and the insight eye health can provide into a person’s overall well-being.
That curiosity shapes the way she practices today. Dr. Cline provides full-scope optometric care with particular interests in ocular surface disease and dry eye, myopia management, and medical eye care. She takes the time to investigate symptoms, understand what may be contributing to them, and create personalized care plans using modern diagnostic and treatment options.
It all started at Ohio State
Education & Experience
A Northeast Ohio native, Dr. Cline grew up in Timberlake before heading to The Ohio State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2004 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2008.
Her experience in eye care actually began even earlier. Dr. Cline spent six years working as an optical technician while completing her education and has now practiced as an optometrist for 18 years.

Leadership, Research & Recognition
Dr. Cline has served as Governor of the Central Ohio Optometric Association and was recognized by the Ohio Optometric Association with the 2023 Outstanding RealEyes Involvement Community Impact Award.
Her academic work includes the published paper “Fluorescein Pattern Interpretation in Keratoconus” in Optometry and Vision Science.

A Special Interest in Dry Eye & Ocular Surface Disease
Dry eye and ocular surface disease have become particular passions for Dr. Cline because no two patients experience them in exactly the same way. Symptoms can have multiple contributing factors, and finding the right approach often requires looking beyond temporary relief.
At The Eye Care Studio’s Dry Eye Center, Dr. Cline combines detailed diagnostic testing with a broad range of treatment options to personalize care around each patient’s ocular surface, symptoms, health, and previous treatments.

Meet Ame Outside the Office
Dr. Cline and her husband have been married for 20 years, and she credits his support as an important part of making The Eye Care Studio possible. Together, they have two children and a dog named Tucker.
Away from the office, you’ll often find her traveling, hiking, reading, trying a new recipe or fitness class, and spending time with friends and family. She loves meeting new people and exploring new places, whether that adventure takes her across the world or somewhere new close to home.
